Cross Disciplinary

Norwood Morialta High School offers students the opportunity to study subjects in the Cross Disciplinary Learning Area. All students in year 10 complete the Personal Learning Plan (PLP), a compulsory unit of the SACE certificate.

Under the New SACE, students are able to study at Stage 1 and Stage 2 the following subjects; Community Studies, Cross Disciplinary Studies, Integrated Learning. Students select subjects that best fit their interest and vocation.

All subjects are available to students in both year 11 and 12 and can be taken individually or in sequence to progress through the school.

At Stage 2, students are required to complete a compulsory 10 credit subject called Research Project. Students are provided with opportunity to develop their research topic in term 4 of year 11 so that they are prepared at the start of year12 to undertake, manage and complete this stage 2 subject requirement of the SACE certificate.
