Term 2 Arrangements
Dear Parents and Caregivers
As advised by the Minister for Education I can confirm that Norwood Morialta High School will remain open in Term 2 for students who cannot be supervised at home.
It is essential that learning continues, whether students are at home or at school, and that they are supported intellectually and emotionally in a virtual learning environment. Our teachers are committed to providing a quality remote/online program for all students.
In Term 2 Norwood Morialta High School students will be either:
- Learning at home: Students follow their scheduled timetable and engage with the Online Learning Program. All lesson instructions will be available on Daymap with additional online resources and support.
- Learning at school: Students who attend school will be allocated a study location and will be expected to continue their Online Learning Program under the supervision of rostered staff.
Please be assured that continuity of learning of all children, whether they be at school or home, and the wellbeing of our children and staff will be our highest priority. We understand that this may be a difficult decision to make right now and wish to reassure you that if government advice or personal circumstances change then decisions can also be changed.
We will continue to keep you informed of any additional changes or updates via Parent Portal, SMS, our newsletter (available next week), our website and our Facebook page. We request that contact us immediately on 8364 2299 if your circumstances or emergency contact details change or if you require more information.
To assist our Term 2 planning we request that you indicate whether your child/children will be learning at home or at school by completing the following survey for each child before 4pm, Wednesday 8 April 2020.
