Year 12 Formal

The Year 12 Formal will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre on Friday 4 May from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Arrival time will be between 6:30pm -7:00pm.

The theme this year is "A Night under the Stars".

Tickets are $120 per person which includes a sit down meal, soft drinks, music, photographs, decorations and prizes.

Tickets will be available for purchase from Tuesday 13 March until Friday 10 April from the pay station.

Year 12 students may invite Year 11 students from Norwood Morialta High School as their guests. If students wish to invite a guest from outside the school, they must have an interview with their Learning Community Leader to obtain permission before purchasing a formal ticket. A partner who is a student from another school must be a Year 11 or Year 12 student.

While the formal is a social occasion, it is a school function and normal school expectations are therefore placed on those who attend. This includes appropriate behaviour, dress and conduct inside and outside the function. These expectations will also apply to any outside guest who is attending. Guests’ behaviour will be seen to be the responsibility of the Norwood Morialta High School student who invites them. Invitation to the school formal is a privilege; the school reserves the right to not grant you this privilege if the invited guest does not meet school values.

Dress is stated as ‘formal’, but this covers a wide range. Some students may plan to wear tuxedos or long dresses, but jackets or ‘after five’ wear are also suitable. No Alcohol is to be consumed before or during the Formal and smoking is not permitted. Students are expected to stay until the end of the evening. Anyone who leaves the function before 11:00pm cannot return.

We look forward to the Formal and hope that all the Year 12 students and guests who attend have a memorable evening.
