At Norwood Morialta High School our vision is that every student will graduate as an engaged global citizen to meet the challenges of a changing world. Collectively these beliefs, along with our strategic directions guide our behaviours, actions and interactions.

Internationalism, as represented by the diversity of our school’s student population, our curriculum, large international student program and the practice of the school, is a core aspect of the Norwood Morialta High School vision. Thinking globally enriches the lives of all individuals in our school community beyond the general boundaries of academic achievement. To this end, the school has engaged in the rigorous self-study and evaluation processes of the Council of International Schools to ensure continual reflection of our practices and services as we strive for global excellence.

Council of International Schools

The Council of International Schools (CIS) is a membership community committed to high-quality international education. This community includes more than 734 schools and 622 colleges and universities in 116 countries. The CIS vision is to inspire the development of global citizens through high-quality international education: connecting ideas, cultures, and educators from every corner of the world.

This global vision strongly supports our school’s purpose of excellence and opportunity for all.

Norwood Morialta High School has been a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) community since 2003 when it was first awarded full accreditation. Since this time our school has engaged in rigorous self-review processes and evaluation visits to ensure we continue to meet international education standards and maintain our commitment to continuous improvement.

In 2018 Norwood Morialta High School hosted 8 international educators who conducted a detailed evaluation. Once again our school was commended on its commitment to offering high-quality education and was awarded International Re-Accreditation. The 2018 CIS Evaluation report is a wonderful endorsement of the good work our school is doing to support student learning and wellbeing. It is indeed an achievement that the school community can rightly feel proud!
