This term our students have participated in a range of activities to support them in their selection of 2021 subjects. We believe that course counselling for all
secondary students is very important in shaping future pathways and links between school, further study options and employment. This is particularly the
case for Year 10 students as they move from the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program to the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and are exposed to a broader range of subject options and choice requirements in the senior school.
At Norwood Morialta High School we support all students to successfully complete their SACE and pursue their preferred pathway beyond school. To assist parents in gaining an understanding of the SACE pattern and senior school subjects we would like to extend an invitation to parents to attend The SACE Parent Information Session on Thursday 13 August, 6:00pm – 7:00pm in the Ivan Coward Hall at the Senior Campus.
This important session will include a brief presentation of the SACE curriculum framework and an opportunity for parents to clarify questions related to the SACE requirements, Vocational Education and Training options and University pathways (including ATAR and bonus points).
